Goshen, IN – A bizarre incident unfolded in downtown Goshen Tuesday afternoon when a man, identified as Alejandro Garay Gutierrez, 53, reportedly crashed his vehicle into a Papa John’s pizza shop and then allegedly engaged in disorderly conduct by urinating in the establishment’s parking lot.
According to the Goshen Police Department, the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the 300 block of North Main Street. Responding officers found Gutierrez visibly intoxicated. After causing substantial damage to the building, Gutierrez further compounded his infractions by allegedly urinating in the parking lot while police conducted their investigation.
Gutierrez was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation before being incarcerated at the county jail, pending charges related to the incident.
