High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 70s across much of the region, including Binghamton (78°), Syracuse (78°), Ithaca (77°), Elmira (77°), Cortland (77°), Utica (79°), Oneonta (75°), Monticello (73°), Wilkes-Barre (79°), Scranton (79°), Towanda (78°), and Honesdale (75°). Higher elevations, including Greenville, will remain cooler with highs near 76 degrees.
Travel conditions will gradually improve along Interstates 81, 86, and 88, although motorists may encounter slick roads and reduced visibility during passing showers this morning. By afternoon, breaks of sunshine will become more widespread, creating more favorable conditions for travel and outdoor plans.
