Nevada – Bright sunshine and dry desert air are already pushing temperatures upward across Las Vegas, and by mid-afternoon, heat will build quickly, creating summer-like conditions that could impact outdoor plans and travel.

According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, highs will reach the low 70s today before climbing sharply into the low 80s Saturday and mid-80s by Sunday. Winds out of the north could gust above 30 mph at times, adding a dry, breezy feel to the air.

Across Las Vegas and the I-15 corridor, drivers may notice occasional crosswinds, especially in open desert areas. While roads remain dry, bright sun glare could reduce visibility during peak afternoon travel. Keep sunglasses handy and stay alert on long stretches of highway.

The bigger story is the warming trend. Temperatures continue rising into early next week, with highs reaching the upper 80s and even low 90s by Tuesday. That’s well above average for early April and signals an early push toward summer conditions.

Outdoor activity will feel noticeably warmer each day. Stay hydrated, limit strenuous activity during peak heat, and never leave children or pets in parked vehicles.

By midweek, temperatures remain elevated, holding near the upper 80s before easing slightly late in the week. Skies stay mostly clear, keeping conditions stable and dry.
