While most inland communities, including Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Lowell and Fitchburg, should stay dry, patchy clouds and areas of drizzle are possible across Cape Cod and the Islands as onshore flow increases.
The weather pattern begins to change Monday as afternoon showers and thunderstorms become possible, with highs ranging from 77 to 85 degrees. While rain will not be continuous, residents should be prepared for periods of wet weather that could affect the afternoon commute and outdoor activities.
