Fairfield County, SC Narcotics Investigation Leads to Two Arrests

Winnsboro, SC – Two people were arrested Thursday after investigators with the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the Winnsboro community as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

According to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, members of the agency’s Narcotics Unit served the search warrant on Holmes Lane on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Investigators said evidence recovered during the search led to the arrest of Marcus Jermaine Mobley.

Mobley has been charged with allegedly possessing cocaine base with intent to distribute, third offense, and allegedly distributing cocaine base, third offense, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities also arrested Ebony Patrice Roach on an outstanding warrant during the operation. Investigators said both individuals were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Fairfield County Detention Center, where they remain pending judicial proceedings.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the investigation remains active, and additional charges may be filed as investigators continue reviewing the evidence.

As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
