Motorists should prepare for changing conditions along Interstate 376, Interstate 79, Interstate 279, the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76), and Route 28. Heavy rain may quickly reduce visibility and create ponding on roadways during the Tuesday evening commute. Travelers using Pittsburgh International Airport should also monitor airline schedules for possible weather-related delays.
By Wednesday, skies begin clearing with mostly sunny conditions returning and highs cooling to around 78 degrees. Sunshine continues Thursday with comfortable summer weather and highs near 80 degrees.
