Niagara County, NY House Fire Today: Blaze Under Investigation in Hartland

Hartland, NY – A house fire in the Town of Hartland prompted a large emergency response Friday morning, with multiple fire departments working to bring the blaze under control, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, the Sheriff’s Communication Center received a 911 call at approximately 8:01 a.m. Friday, July 17, reporting a structure fire at a residence in the 3800 block of Carmen Road.

When emergency crews arrived, they confirmed a working fire at the home. Authorities said the residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries have been reported.

Firefighters from several departments responded to the scene and were able to bring the fire under control.

According to the sheriff’s office, the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit is investigating the cause of the fire. Officials have not determined what sparked the blaze, and a damage estimate has not yet been released.

The sheriff’s office said the response included personnel from the Middleport Volunteer Fire Company, Hartland Volunteer Fire Company, Barker Volunteer Fire Company, Gasport Volunteer Fire Company, and Shelby Volunteer Fire Company, along with sheriff’s deputies.

Authorities have not released additional information about the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
