Temperatures climb to 87 degrees today before reaching 92 degrees Tuesday. The hottest day arrives Wednesday, when highs are expected to reach 100 degrees, making it the most intense heat of the week. Thursday remains very warm with highs near 94 degrees.
The prolonged sunshine will rapidly warm roads, sidewalks, and buildings across Baltimore, Towson, Catonsville, Columbia, Glen Burnie, and surrounding communities.
