University Park, IL – The Village of University Park is accepting applications for its next Deputy Chief of Police, offering a starting salary between $110,000 and $115,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package.
According to the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, the position is intended for an experienced, forward-thinking law enforcement professional to help lead a modern, community-focused police department. The Deputy Chief will work alongside the Police Chief and command staff to oversee department operations, personnel development, and strategic initiatives.

Preferred candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, or a related field, although comparable education and experience may be considered.
