Tallahassee, FL – A long stretch of dry and increasingly warm weather is expected across Tallahassee and much of north Florida through next week, with temperatures climbing close to 90 degrees by the weekend and early next week.

According to the National Weather Service, cloudy skies overnight will gradually clear Wednesday morning, leading to sunny and pleasant conditions across the Tallahassee metro area. High temperatures are expected to reach near 80 degrees with light northeast winds continuing through the afternoon.

Forecasters say dry weather will persist through the remainder of the workweek as high pressure settles across the Florida Panhandle and Big Bend region. Wednesday night will remain mostly clear with lows around 62 degrees before temperatures warm back into the lower 80s Thursday.

The warming trend strengthens Friday and Saturday as abundant sunshine dominates the forecast. Highs are expected to reach near 85 degrees Friday and climb to around 89 degrees Saturday across Leon County and surrounding communities.

Summerlike heat continues Sunday and Monday with highs approaching 90 degrees each afternoon. Overnight temperatures will remain mild, staying in the upper 60s through early next week.
