Miami, FL – South Florida’s summerlike weather pattern will continue through next week as Miami faces daily chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms alongside warm and humid temperatures.
According to the National Weather Service, scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop Wednesday afternoon after 2 p.m. across Miami-Dade County and surrounding areas. High temperatures are forecast to reach near 87 degrees, with locally heavy downpours possible in stronger storms.
Forecasters say isolated thunderstorms may continue into Wednesday evening before conditions partially clear overnight. Overnight lows will remain very warm near 78 degrees with elevated humidity levels persisting across the region.
Additional rounds of scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday afternoon and evening. Rain chances remain elevated through the weekend as sea breeze activity and tropical moisture continue to fuel daily storm development across South Florida.
Friday is currently expected to be the driest day of the extended forecast, with mostly sunny skies and highs near 85 degrees. However, storm chances quickly return Saturday through early next week, especially during the afternoon and evening hours.
Temperatures are expected to remain consistently warm, with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s and overnight lows hovering near 80 degrees through Tuesday.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to monitor changing weather conditions each afternoon, especially for lightning and localized street flooding during heavier storms.
