Kiskiminetas Township, PA – A renewed push for answers is underway in Armstrong County as investigators continue to search for a man who vanished more than a decade ago, with a reward now being offered for information that could help solve the case.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Troop A, Kiski Valley Criminal Investigations Unit, Albert Leroy Copper was reported missing on Thursday, June 6, 2013, after leaving for work around 3:45 a.m. and allegedly never arriving. Authorities said his family contacted police later that morning when he failed to return home.

Investigators said Copper’s vehicle was allegedly discovered later that day around 2:30 p.m. on a dirt pull-off in a wooded area approximately a quarter mile east of State Route 156 in Kiskiminetas Township. Officials noted that Copper has not been seen or heard from since that time, and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear.

Copper, who was 24 years old at the time, is described as standing 5 feet 7 inches tall with red hair and brown eyes. Police said he was last seen wearing a black “Peterbilt” baseball cap, a gray T-shirt, blue jeans, sneakers, and black and gray Hanes underwear.

State police are urging anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing that tips—no matter how small—could be critical in determining what allegedly happened. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest, resolution of the case, or the location of Copper.
