Hooksett, New Hampshire – A Warner man was arrested after allegedly crashing a stolen vehicle along Interstate 93 in Hooksett on Saturday morning, prompting a police investigation.

According to New Hampshire State Police, troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks responded around 9:50 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026, to a report of a crash near mile marker 27.4 on Interstate 93 northbound.

Preliminary investigation determined that a 2005 Subaru Impreza, allegedly driven by Vicente Metrano, 30, of Warner, left the right side of the roadway and struck a highway sign for the Hooksett Welcome Center. Authorities said the vehicle then rolled over and came to rest between trees near the roadway.

Police said Metrano exited the vehicle on his own following the crash. He was later transported to a regional hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

He is allegedly charged with receiving stolen property and driving under the influence, according to authorities.

State Police said no booking photo was immediately available.

Metrano is scheduled to appear in Hooksett District Court at 1 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2026.
