LAS VEGAS — Resort pools are very popular amongst visitors and require reservations for daybeds and cabanas.
It’s not uncommon for hotel daybeds and cabanas to sell out weeks in advance, even when rooms are available. This is because daybed and cabana reservations are separate from room booking, and pool inventory is strictly capacity-controlled.
Properties such as the Venetian Resort Las Vegas and MGM Grand Las Vegas allow daybeds and cabanas to be reserved in advance, with strict check-in times. Resorts like the Venetian do not issue refunds for missed check-ins.
Some resorts, like the Cosmopolitan on Las Vegas Boulevard, require a 100 percent prepayment for daybed and cabana bookings. Guests can reserve their daybeds and cabanas directly through the hotel or use third-party services like Day Pass. To avoid losing the full payment, guests are advised to cancel at least 48 hours in advance and review the resort’s policies on refunds and cancellations. For example, the Venetian offers no discounts or refunds for inclement weather.
