Montgomery Co., PA – An eerie calm has enveloped Shady Lane and Oak Terrace, two streets adjacent to the PA Turnpike, as they remain evacuated following a fiery collision late Saturday morning.

According to sources at the scene a semi tractor-trailer carrying jet fuel crashed with a sedan, unleashing a horrifying blaze that sent billows of smoke spiraling into the sky, visible from miles around.

The immediate aftermath saw at least two fatalities. The crash forced the closure of all lanes on the Northeast Extension between Mid-County and Lansdale.
