Lancaster, Ohio – Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a 26-year-old woman reported missing earlier this month, prompting an active investigation in Fairfield County.

According to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, Aundria Monroe was reported missing on Monday, after she was last seen on Feb. 3 in the 6000 block of Prentiss School Drive in the Canal Winchester area.

Detectives said Monroe is a Black female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. At the time she was last seen, she was reportedly wearing black pants with a pink bow, a black coat, a white dress, and white shoes.

The Sheriff’s Office has classified the case as a missing adult investigation. No information has been released indicating foul play, and officials have not said where Monroe may have been headed or whether she may be traveling with someone.

Detective Jamie Shell is leading the investigation. Authorities emphasized that even small details — including sightings, video footage, or tips from residents and commuters in the area — could be critical in locating Monroe.

The area where Monroe was last seen includes residential routes commonly used by commuters traveling between Canal Winchester and surrounding parts of Fairfield County, increasing the likelihood that someone may have seen her.

Anyone who has information about Monroe’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office at 740-652-7900. Tips can also be directed to Detective Shell at 740-652-7338 or by email at michael.shell@fairfieldcountyohio.gov.

Investigators say the case remains active and updates will be released as more information becomes available.
