Racine, WI – A major drug investigation in Racine County led to one arrest and another suspect remaining at large after authorities executed a search warrant Wednesday at a residence in the City of Racine.
According to the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, the Sheriff’s SWAT Team and Metro Drug Unit (MDU) served a search warrant Wednesday at a home in the 1100 block of North Memorial Drive as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
Investigators said the probe focused on 31-year-old Jarvis Walker and 54-year-old Patsy Clemmer, who allegedly resided at the address. MDU agents had previously conducted controlled purchases of crack cocaine from the residence, which authorities said provided the basis for the warrant.
Once the home was secured, agents discovered approximately 41.5 grams of powder cocaine, 139.3 grams of crack cocaine, and 119.8 grams of marijuana, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies also located an empty gun box containing three loaded magazines. No firearms were found, which authorities noted is significant because both suspects are convicted felons and prohibited from possessing firearms.
Walker and Clemmer were not inside the home when the warrant was executed. Investigators later determined Walker had left the residence in a known vehicle shortly before deputies arrived. A short time later, sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop and took Walker into custody without incident.
Walker was booked into the Racine County Jail and held on $72,500 bail. He faces multiple felony charges, including manufacture or delivery of cocaine greater than 40 grams, possession of THC – second or subsequent offense, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and felony bail jumping. Prosecutors are reviewing formal charges.
Authorities said Clemmer is not currently in custody, and a warrant will be issued for her arrest. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Racine County Communications Center at (262) 886-2300 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 636-9330.
Sheriff Christopher Schmaling said drug trafficking will not be tolerated in Racine County and praised deputies and investigators for their efforts.
