Authorities say troopers responded around 9:30 a.m. on January 2, 2026, to the 100 block of Whitetail Lane for a complaint of gunfire that had occurred earlier that morning. Upon arrival, police found shell casings in the roadway near a residence. No one was hurt, and no homes were struck by bullets.

According to preliminary findings, around 2:00 a.m., a dark-colored SUV allegedly drove past the residence and fired multiple rounds before fleeing the area.
