MANTENO, IL – Manteno police have arrested a 72-year-old man on sex-related charges, according to a press release.
Keith W. Hess was arrested Monday night just after 5:30 p.m. and charged in connection with an alleged sexual crimes involving two juveniles. Hess was charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13 and aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 18.
Hess is now being held at the Jerome Combs Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
No further details about the case have been released at this time, but authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
