NAPA Auto Parts fire causes over $100k in damage, employee hospitalized

COAL CITY – A blaze igniting in the back of a NAPA Auto Parts store reportedly caused over $100,000 in damage and sent one person to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.

It happened around 3 pm at the NAPA Auto Parts store on East Division Street.  An employee was injured in the blaze and sent to the hospital; there condition is currently unknown at this time.

Coal City Fire reports the fire appears to be an accident.
