Quad Cities, IA/IL – The Quad Cities area is on alert as the National Weather Service advises of a potential severe weather event tonight. 

The forecast indicates a chance of thunderstorms between 7 PM and 2 AM. Despite limited moisture, which could reduce storm formation, the possibility of severe weather, including lightning, large hail, and damaging winds, remains. 

Residents are urged to monitor weather updates and prepare for possible storm impacts during the stated hours. Community members should review safety protocols and have multiple methods to receive weather warnings to ensure timely action if severe conditions materialize.
