Chicago, IL – The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a weather advisory for potential severe storms across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana.

According to their latest updates, scattered storms with gusty winds are expected late Saturday, leading to a mainly dry Sunday. Severe weather is anticipated on Tuesday, with a significant risk of damaging winds. Residents are advised to stay vigilant and prepare for rapid changes in weather conditions.

The US National Weather Service stresses the importance of moving indoors if thunder is heard and urges caution while driving during heavy rain due to reduced visibility and potential flooding.
