Lansing, MI – It’s not every day you can slice into both a pizza and a college fund at the same time, but Michigan is making it happen. The state has launched the “Reach For The Pie” competition, a saucy incentive designed to encourage high school seniors to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist II, together with Michigan’s Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential, announced the cheesy campaign. The reward? A chance to win a year’s supply of Hungry Howie’s pizza for absolutely free. By filling out the FAFSA, students not only step closer to securing up to $27,500 in state scholarships but also get a shot at becoming one of the 100 lucky pizza prize winners.

Set your reminders for August when the winners will be drawn. If you’re dough-lighted by the idea of free pizza while funding your education, text FAFSA to 844-34-PIZZA to enter. Who says there’s no such thing as free lunch (or tuition)?
