Quad Cities, IL/IA – Residents of the Quad Cities area should brace for a lively weather day as cold fronts are expected to usher in gusty winds and potentially small hail, especially in areas highlighted in brown. 

The National Weather Service has forecasted that thunderstorms will develop between 1 PM and 5 PM today along the moving cold front. Some storms may be strong, but the region will otherwise experience a relatively quiet week until Friday when the weather pattern becomes active again with more showers and storms.
