West Lafayette, IN – A Purdue University student has filed a lawsuit against the institution following severe injuries incurred during a chaotic rush for basketball tickets last year.

Alanna Nash, the plaintiff, reported multiple fractures in her left foot resulting from being trampled outside Mackey Arena on February 5, 2023. The crowd, gathered for a ticket raffle, allegedly lacked sufficient security and crowd management, leading to the incident.
