Dwight, IL – Residents of Livingston County should note that Trojan Dr near Dwight High School will be closed from 8:15 AM to approximately 11:00 AM today due to a mock DUI crash drill.

The event, aimed at raising awareness among students about the risks of drunk driving, will simulate a realistic accident scene and include substantial first responder activity. A Life Flight helicopter may also land on the school’s football field as part of the drill.

The Dwight Police Department assures the community that this is only a drill, with no actual emergency occurring, and thanks all partners for their involvement in this educational initiative.
