Kankakee, IL – The Kankakee Community College Foundation has announced that applications for their 2024-2025 scholarship program are now open. Students are encouraged to apply promptly to secure financial aid for the upcoming academic year.

According to Kankakee Community College, over 200 scholarships are available, offering a diverse range of financial support options for students. Awards vary from $200 to $5,500, with varying eligibility criteria including minimum GPA requirements. 

Some scholarships, like the Alice Madson Scholarship for Undocumented Students, are designed to support a diverse student body, whereas others focus on specific fields, such as the Jerry G Memorial STEM Scholarship or the Frey Family Scholarship for Respiratory Students. The scholarship season offers promising opportunities for students to alleviate the financial burden of their education.

In an effort to expand educational opportunities, Kankakee Community College is inviting philanthropists and community members to make a lasting impact through scholarship creation.
