Schaumburg, Illinois – The FBI Chicago Field Office urgently seeks the public’s help in tracking down a suspect involved in a bank robbery and a subsequent attempted bank robbery on Thursday.
According to investigators the first incident occurred at the US Bank on 1301 Irving Park Rd. in Hanover Park at around 12:30 PM, followed shortly by an attempt at the US Bank located at 60 Meacham Road in Schaumburg at approximately 12:55 PM.
The suspect, described as a Black male in his 20s with a thin, muscular build, around 6 feet tall, made a verbal demand for money and displayed a handgun during the incidents. He was last seen wearing a black hooded pullover, a blue durag, blue gloves, a black face covering, and black sweatpants.
Authorities reported that the suspect fled the scene in a gray Nissan Altima with distinctive wear marks and no license plate. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with these events.
