Arlington Heights, IL – Woman Robbed at Gunpoint While Walking Dog in Local Neighborhood

Arlington Heights, IL – On Sunday afternoon, a woman walking her dog faced a harrowing ordeal when an unknown assailant robbed her at gunpoint at the intersection of Schaeffer Road and Weston Drive in Arlington Heights. 

The Arlington Heights Police Department reports that the incident occurred around 1:15 PM. The suspect, described as a Hispanic male in his twenties, about 6 feet tall and wearing blue jeans, allegedly pointed a black gun at the victim and demanded her belongings. Despite not having any property on her, the assailant fled southbound on Schaeffer Road in a black Toyota Camry. 

Authorities are asking for the public’s help and encourage anyone with information to contact Arlington Heights Crime Stoppers.
