Chesterton, IL – A GoFundMe campaign initiated for the Reagor family of Pine Township, who tragically lost their home in a fire on Monday afternoon, has raised over $10,000 to support their recovery.

Jessica and Ryan Reagor, along with their son Drew, watched as their house was quickly engulfed in flames shortly after their smoke detectors went off. Fortunately, all family members escaped without injury, but they lost everything they owned.

The community has rallied behind the Reagors, a well-known and active family in the Duneland area. Ryan is employed by the Indiana American Water Company, while Jessica is a familiar face at Chesterton High School, where she works as an administrative assistant. Their son, Drew, is a freshman at the school and plays on the basketball team.

Olivia VanDenburgh, who organized the fundraising effort, expressed gratitude to local fire departments and emergency responders for their quick response and effective management of the fire. She also thanked the community for their overwhelming support during this difficult time for the Reagors.

Contributions to assist the family can still be made via their GoFundMe page, as the community continues to show support and solidarity in the face of this devastating event.
