Cheyenne, Wyo. – Much of Wyoming will enjoy a calm and sunny Tuesday, with lighter winds and warmer temperatures offering a welcome break from Monday’s gusty conditions.

According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, highs will range from the mid-60s to low 70s across the state, roughly 5 to 10 degrees above average for late April. Sunny skies will dominate most of the day, though isolated afternoon showers are possible, especially east of the Laramie Range.

Cheyenne, Rawlins, and Saratoga can expect highs near 70°F, while Douglas and Lusk will top out around 60°F. Winds will be noticeably lighter than Monday’s, making outdoor activities more comfortable. Still, breezy conditions will persist, particularly in open areas like Shirley Basin and along I-25.

Travelers should remain alert for quick-moving showers in the late afternoon, particularly near Torrington and Wheatland, where brief rainfall could dampen roads.

This mild spring pattern is expected to hold for the next few days, but additional updates may be issued if stronger systems develop later in the week. Keep an eye on local forecasts and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.
