Cheyenne, WY – Travelers along I-25 and residents in Wyoming should prepare for breezy conditions and freezing nights this Thanksgiving weekend. While snow showers linger Wednesday, Thursday is shaping up to be partly cloudy and cool, offering better conditions for holiday plans.
According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will see highs near 35°F, with scattered snow showers west of I-25 and gusts up to 30 mph. Thanksgiving Day promises sunny skies east of I-25, with highs around 36°F and breezy northwest winds up to 20 mph. Areas west of I-25 will experience similar conditions, with highs ranging from 28°F to 35°F.
Heading into the weekend, Friday and Saturday are expected to remain partly cloudy and breezy, with daytime highs reaching 42°F. Nighttime temperatures will dip significantly, with lows in the teens. By Sunday, sunny skies and slightly warmer temperatures will bring relief, as highs climb to 47°F east of I-25.
