Wyoming, US – A minor earthquake struck Wyoming on Saturday, registering a magnitude of 2.6. The tremor occurred southeast of Ten Sleep at a depth of 11.1 kilometers.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed the quake occurred at 5:29 a.m. local time. Though it was a mild tremor, residents in the surrounding areas are encouraged to report their experience to the USGS.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 19 kilometers from Ten Sleep, but no immediate reports of damage or injuries have surfaced. Earthquakes of this magnitude are generally considered minor, but they can be felt, especially in areas near the epicenter.
