Green Bay, WI – Snow and dangerously cold wind chills will impact Green Bay this week, creating hazardous travel conditions and extreme cold risks. A storm system is set to bring accumulating snow on Wednesday, followed by wind chills as low as -25°F overnight.

According to the National Weather Service, snowfall is expected to begin Wednesday morning, with heavier accumulation in the afternoon and evening. Wind gusts could reach 21 mph, reducing visibility and making roads slick. Those traveling, especially on Highway 29, should prepare for delays and icy conditions.

After the snow moves out, frigid temperatures will persist. Wednesday night’s low is forecast at 9°F, but strong winds will make it feel much colder. Bitter cold remains through the weekend, with another snow system possible by Friday night into Saturday.

Residents should dress in layers, limit outdoor exposure, and check road conditions before traveling. Green Bay drivers should ensure vehicles have emergency kits and full gas tanks.
