Green Bay, WI – A significant shift in Wisconsin’s weather is on the horizon as frigid temperatures give way to a weekend warm-up. After a bitterly cold Thursday, temperatures will gradually rise, reaching the mid-30s by Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service, Friday will be sunny with a high near 23°F and southwest winds up to 10 mph. Saturday will continue the trend, with partly sunny skies and a high near 26°F. By Sunday, temperatures will climb even higher, peaking at 35°F. However, a chance of light snow is expected late Sunday night into Monday.
Drivers should remain cautious, as early morning slick spots may develop due to refreezing overnight. Looking ahead, next week’s forecast indicates continued warming, with highs reaching the low 40s by Tuesday.
