La Crosse, WI – A warming trend is on the way, but it comes with increased rain chances starting Sunday night. Residents should prepare for shifting conditions as temperatures rise and precipitation moves in.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 29°F, while Sunday will warm to 40°F. Winds will remain light but shift southwest by the afternoon, bringing milder air.

Sunday night brings a 20% chance of rain, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 30°F. Monday will be even warmer, reaching 47°F, but scattered rain showers could develop by the evening. Rain chances increase to 30% Monday night, with temperatures holding steady in the low 30s.

Tuesday remains mild, with highs in the mid-40s, though another round of rain is possible Tuesday night. By Wednesday, temperatures will stay near 44°F, with partly sunny skies and breezy conditions.

Drivers should stay alert for wet roads early next week, as fluctuating temperatures could create slick conditions overnight. Check forecasts regularly for updated rain chances and any potential travel impacts.
