Wisconsin – A humid and warm weekend is in store for Wisconsin, with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 80s across much of the state. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Milwaukee/Sullivan, conditions will remain hot and sticky through Sunday, particularly in areas near Lake Michigan where onshore winds may provide some relief with slightly cooler temperatures.

The NWS reports a small chance for showers and storms on Sunday afternoon, mainly impacting parts of the region. However, the likelihood of storms will increase as the day progresses, with the best chance for thunderstorms occurring Sunday night into early Monday. By Monday night, Wisconsin could see widespread storms accompanied by heavy rainfall, especially in the eastern and southern parts of the state.

In La Crosse, the weather will start less humid on Saturday, with sunshine and above-normal temperatures ranging from 83 to 90 degrees. Storm chances will return later tonight, lingering into Sunday, and becoming more widespread by Monday. The NWS La Crosse notes that heavy rainfall is possible Monday night, followed by a significant cool-down with drier conditions expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Wisconsin residents are advised to stay updated on the latest weather developments, particularly regarding potential storms and heavy rain early next week. Cooler temperatures and lower humidity levels are anticipated as the week progresses, offering some relief after the hot and humid weekend.
