According to the National Weather Service, a Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. for areas along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Power outages and minor tree damage are possible, especially in exposed locations. Rain will persist through mid-afternoon, with temperatures remaining in the 50s.
Tonight, conditions will ease slightly as winds drop to 20-25 mph. By Wednesday, colder air will push in, setting the stage for the first accumulating snowfall of the season. Late Wednesday night into Thursday morning, central and northeastern Wisconsin could see a rain-and-snow mix, with confidence high that many areas will see the season’s first measurable snow.
Drivers should remain cautious as slick roads and reduced visibility are expected. Winds will shift northwest by Thursday, maintaining gusts up to 30 mph.
The extended forecast predicts a return to drier conditions Friday, with highs near 46°F, and a sunny but colder Saturday.
