Milwaukee, WI – Milwaukee residents should prepare for a wet and windy Tuesday as showers and thunderstorms develop throughout the day, potentially impacting commutes along I-94. Strong winds of 40-50 mph are expected, with brief severe thunderstorms possible.

According to the National Weather Service in Milwaukee, rain and potential thunderstorms will occur primarily between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., with localized heavy rainfall up to 1 inch southeast of Highway 151. This will create slick road conditions and reduced visibility. Residents should monitor updates and avoid unnecessary travel during peak storm periods.

The rest of the week shows improvement: Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs near 54°F, transitioning to clear skies by Thursday with temperatures peaking at 57°F. By Friday, expect continued sun with a high around 59°F.

Motorists and residents should stay alert for sudden weather changes and potential gusty winds outside of showers and storms.
