Green Bay, WI – Wisconsin drivers should brace for gusty winds and light snow today, creating hazardous travel conditions on area highways. Winds are expected to reach up to 45 mph, and snow showers may reduce visibility, especially in northeast and east-central Wisconsin.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, conditions will worsen in the afternoon as winds increase and snow develops near the Upper Michigan border. While snowfall accumulations are expected to remain low, the combination of snow and strong gusts could make driving hazardous, particularly for high-profile vehicles.

By Tuesday, northeast Wisconsin could see heavier snow, with accumulation beginning in the morning and extending into the evening. Travelers are urged to plan ahead, monitor road conditions, and reduce speeds on highways like I-41 and I-43 during peak gusts.

Looking ahead, the forecast shows partly sunny conditions midweek before another chance of snow and rain arrives Thursday. Highs will range from the mid-30s to near 50 by Thursday, offering some relief before temperatures drop again Friday.

Be sure to check weather updates regularly and use caution on the roads.
