Green Bay, WI – Severe thunderstorms are set to sweep across central and northeastern Wisconsin tonight, bringing the potential for damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Residents are urged to prepare for storms starting this evening, with the possibility of small hail and gusty winds.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, these storms could intensify across central and north-central Wisconsin later tonight. Winds may exceed 40 mph, creating hazardous conditions, particularly for travelers. Flash flooding in low-lying areas is also a risk, with the heaviest rain expected late tonight.

Temperatures will drop to lows between 58° and 65°F, offering some respite from today’s heat. Showers are forecast to continue into Friday morning, with a 35% chance of rain and highs reaching 80°F. Looking ahead, Saturday will see clearer skies, but more rain is expected Sunday.
