Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Showers and possible thunderstorms could cause disruptions across southeast Wisconsin Thursday, especially along the I-94 corridor from Waukesha to Racine. The heaviest rain is expected by early afternoon, with reduced visibility and ponding on roads like I-41 and I-94 creating a safety concern for commuters and delivery routes.

According to the National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan, the storm system may bring rainfall totals between three-quarters and one inch, with a slight chance of thunderstorms from noon through Thursday evening. Winds will shift from east to northwest, gusting up to 15 mph late in the day as cooler air moves in.

Friday offers a brief break with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low 50s, though a 20% chance of light rain lingers in the morning. By Saturday, spring sunshine makes a return, with highs nearing 51°F and drier air settling in thanks to a north wind.
