Duluth, MN – A warm and dry start to the week will give way to scattered showers and colder temperatures, with a chance of light snow showers by Wednesday morning. Today’s highs will be in the mid-70s across northern Minnesota, including Duluth, as patchy morning fog clears for partly cloudy skies.
Isolated thunderstorms and scattered showers are possible Tuesday afternoon, mainly north of the Iron Range and into northwest Wisconsin. Highs will reach 68 degrees in Duluth, but a cold front will sweep through late Tuesday, bringing cooler air and the potential for light snow showers into early Wednesday. Accumulation is expected to be minimal.
By Wednesday, temperatures will drop to a high of 48 degrees, with breezy northwest winds making it feel colder. Snow showers are likely in higher elevations but should clear by mid-morning. Another round of rain showers is expected Thursday afternoon, as highs return to the upper 50s.
