Green Bay, Wis. – An unsettled weather pattern will keep Wisconsin under periodic rain and storm chances through Saturday, with thunder likely in central parts of the state by Wednesday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, showers will move in from the west by late Tuesday morning and become more widespread on Wednesday. Thunderstorms could develop in central Wisconsin midweek, especially between Wausau and Stevens Point.

Green Bay and surrounding areas should prepare for off-and-on showers through Friday, with slight chances of storms on both Wednesday and Thursday. Daytime highs will hover in the 60s and low 70s early in the week before rising into the low 80s by Friday.

Drivers should watch for slick roads during morning and evening commutes, especially Wednesday. Residents are encouraged to secure outdoor items, charge devices, and monitor local alerts for any severe weather developments.

Rain chances will taper slightly heading into Saturday, with warmer, drier weather likely returning by Sunday. Additional advisories may be issued if thunderstorms strengthen midweek.
