Gray, ME – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for parts of western Maine and central and northern New Hampshire from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Mixed precipitation, including up to one-tenth of an inch of sleet and ice, is expected, along with snow accumulations of up to one inch in higher elevations. The National Weather Service warns that freezing rain may create a glaze of ice on untreated roads, resulting in hazardous travel conditions, particularly during the Tuesday morning commute.
