Denver, CO – Several mountain regions in Colorado remain under Winter Weather Advisories as heavy snowfall and strong winds impact travel and outdoor activities.
According to the National Weather Service, areas such as Rabbit Ears Pass, Elkhead and Park Mountains, and the Gore and Elk Mountains are expected to receive between 4 to 10 inches of snow through Monday morning. Winds could gust up to 40 mph, further complicating driving conditions on mountain passes, including Vail Pass.
Drivers are urged to prepare for slippery roads and reduced visibility. For updated road conditions, visit cotrip.org.
