Bismarck, ND – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for portions of south central and southwest North Dakota through noon CST (11 a.m. MST) Sunday, as snowfall and hazardous travel conditions are expected to impact the region.
According to the National Weather Service, snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are anticipated, with locally higher amounts possible. Affected areas include the cities of Bowman, Hettinger, Fort Yates, and Elgin, among others.
Road conditions are expected to be slippery, with blowing snow potentially reducing visibility. Residents are urged to slow down and exercise caution when traveling.
