Denver, CO – Snowfall will continue to impact travel across Colorado on Wednesday, with additional accumulations expected west and southwest of Denver. The National Weather Service predicts new snowfall of 2 to 6 inches in the mountains, while the I-25 corridor may see 1 to 3 inches, mainly on grassy areas.

According to the National Weather Service, accumulating snow will persist through early afternoon near major roadways, including I-70 and US 285. Motorists should anticipate slick roads and reduced visibility, especially during heavier snow showers. Drivers are urged to use caution and check for updates on road conditions before traveling.

By Wednesday evening, snow showers are expected to taper off, with conditions improving overnight. Highs will reach 35°F in Denver, followed by a partly cloudy night with lows near 18°F.

Thanksgiving Day will bring sunny skies and a high of 38°F, providing a reprieve from the snow. Travelers heading out early should bundle up, as morning temperatures will be chilly. Looking ahead, Friday and Saturday will remain sunny with highs in the mid-40s, offering excellent conditions for holiday weekend activities.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed through official channels for the latest weather updates and road closures. Check COtrip.org for real-time travel information.
