Oklahoma City, OK – When do clocks fall back across Oklahoma this year? Residents in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Norman, Edmond, and Lawton will turn their clocks back one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, as Daylight Saving Time officially ends across the Sooner State.

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Oklahoma will return to Central Standard Time through early March 2026. The “fall back” gives residents an extra hour of sleep, but also signals shorter days and darker evenings heading into late fall.

In Oklahoma City, sunset on Sunday will occur around 5:34 p.m., while in Tulsa, dusk will fall near 5:29 p.m. Western parts of the state, such as Lawton and Woodward, will see sunset closer to 5:41 p.m. Drivers and evening commuters are advised to be cautious as visibility decreases earlier in the day.

Fire and emergency officials across Oklahoma remind residents to check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and replace batteries during the time change—a twice-yearly safety habit promoted nationwide.

Daylight Saving Time will resume on Sunday, March 8, 2026, when clocks “spring forward” by one hour again.
