Pittsburgh, PA – Residents can expect a mix of clear skies, chilly evenings, and sunny days across the Pittsburgh area this week, following a recent cold front. Temperatures will dip into the low 30s tonight, creating brisk conditions. While days will warm up to near 60°F, it’s a good idea to have extra layers on hand as the week progresses.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, this cooler, dry air will stick around, with Sunday forecasted to be sunny and reach a high of 58°F. Overnight lows will again drop to the 30s, making for a frosty start each morning. On Monday, the temperature will edge up slightly to 67°F with partly cloudy skies by evening, and nighttime temperatures will settle around 48°F. Drivers on I-376 and commuters around Allegheny County should be prepared for early morning chill and low visibility due to cooler temperatures.

The midweek forecast brings a warmer trend, with temperatures rising to the mid-70s on Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs on Wednesday are expected to peak near 79°F, with a low of 60°F, giving a brief respite from the chillier nights. Despite the increase in temperatures, rain remains absent from the forecast until Thursday, offering ideal conditions for outdoor activities.

Pittsburgh residents should prepare for showers Thursday night, with a 70% chance of rain extending into Friday. As the workweek concludes, temperatures are expected to hover in the mid-60s. While cooler weather will likely resume, those in the area can enjoy several days of mild, sunny conditions before the next bout of rainfall.
